Dancers - through the years
The Trouble with Impressionists:
I grew up in Saratoga Springs NY where the NYC ballet performed every summer at SPAC. As children we would sit in the front row every Saturday Matinee. My mother was a docent there and I was privledged to get an inside glimpse to the preparations, costumes and the back stage experience of the ballerina's life. Throughout my life I return to the subject matter of "The Dance".
